Bucknell fell to 2-5 overall and 0-3 in the Patriot League for the first time ever following a crushing 32-31 loss at Georgetown ... Bucknell led 17-0 at the half and 31-20 until the Hoyas scored twice in the final 5:41 ... David Paulus tossed his fifth TD pass of the second half with 13 seconds left in the game to provide the winning points ... with 1:18 remaining in the second quarter the Bison defense had limited Georgetown to just two total yards ... the Hoyas heated up on that final possession of the half, driving to the Bison 11 before CB Anthony Lewis blocked a Michael Gillman 28-yard field goal attempt ... the Hoyas racked up 307 yards and scored on 5 of 8 possessions in the second half ... Bucknell's three Patriot League losses have come by a total of 10 points ... 15 of the team's last 18 losses overall have come by a touchdown or less, and in 10 of those 15 losses the winning points were scored in the final five minutes of play ... the Bison have lost six straight road games, their longest such streak since 1991-92 ... Georgetown WR Luke McArdle caught 14 passes for 188 yards - 21 more yards than the entire Hoya team gained in a 34-0 loss to Bucknell last season in Lewisburg ... the 32 points allowed were the most in a Patriot League games since a 48-27 loss to Lehigh in 1999 ...the loss marred a terrific starting debut for sophomore QB Cole Ciesnolevicz ... starting in place of injured senior QB Todd Wenrich (shoulder), Ciesnolevicz completed 23 of 36 passes for 288 yards and a touchdown ... he also ran for a score and was not intercepted in the contest ... Ciesnolevicz's TD pass was a 30-yarder to junior WR Albert Marquardt in the fourth quarter ... Marquardt caught five passes for 117 yards - his second 100-yard game of the season and fourth of his career ... he had a 43-yard catch on the very first play of the game ... senior WR Jim Horan caught four passes for 29 yards but saw his TD streak end at three games ... Bucknell managed only 78 rushing yards but scored three of its touchdowns on the ground ... in addition to Ciesnolevicz's 3-yard run, freshman Blamah Sarnor scored on a 5-yard run and sophomore Raphael Darrington scored from 7 yards out ... after rushing for over 100 yards as a team in each of their first four games, the Bison have been held under 100 in the last three games ... sophomore Ian Nutt hauled in a career-high four receptions, totaling 60 yards ... senior K Chris Lundberg kicked a 29-yard field goal and converted all four of his PATs, and he broke the Bucknell record for career points by a kicker with 185 ... he had tied Steve Barimo's mark last week at Towson ... Lewis's blocked field goal was his third of the season ... the Bison have blocked seven kicks in seven games this season ... junior ILB Stephane Pluviose led the Bison with 10 tackles, his fourth double-digit tackle game in the last six outings ... Bucknell held Georgetown to only 18 rushing yards ... senior OLB Joe Massey had 1.5 sacks in the game and moved into third place on Bucknell's all-time sacks list with 22.5 ... Dave Hibbard and Ed Burman hold the record with 25.5 ... junior SS Jared Marsilio made his first career start in place of junior SS Will Smith, who sat out with a shoulder injury ... the Bison conclude a three-game road trip next Saturday at Holy Cross (12:30 p.m.).
