Bucknell-Fairfield Field Hockey Start Time Pushed Back

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The start time for Saturday's Bucknell-Fairfield field hockey contest has been bumped back three hours to 3 p.m. Morning rain is predicted for Saturday, and the later game time should allow Bucknell's grass playing surface at West Field time to dry.
The contest marks the final home game of the season for Bucknell, and it will be preceded by a tribute to the Bison's three seniors - Kelly Burrows, Amy Marvel and Sonja Wettergreen.
The game also carries major Patriot League Tournament ramifications. Bucknell and Fairfield enter the game tied for fourth place with 2-2 league records. Only the top four teams qualify for the tournament, and after Saturday's game both teams have just one league game remaining.
Bucknell is coming off a 2-0 victory at Siena on Tuesday and stands 6-9 overall this season.
