Bucknell Men's Tennis Completes Play in Patriot League Flighted Tournament

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Bucknell men's tennis freshman Asher Salam advanced to the semi-final round of the Patriot League Flighted Championship, held at Lehigh on Saturday and Sunday, October 12-13, 2002.
Salam competed at the fifth singles flight, defeating Ryan Collins of Lafayette, 6-4, 6-4, on the first day of competition to advance to the semi-final round. The rookie squared off against Davy Lee of Navy in the second round, falling 6-2, 6-0 to the eventual champion.
The Bison men's tennis squad will wrap up their play in the fall with competition at the ITA Regional Championship at the University of Pennsylvania on Friday-Sunday, October 25-27.
