Paige Cull Named Athlete of the Month for Women's Water Polo

Lewisburg, Pa. -- Bucknell senior Paige Cull (Bay City, Mich./John Glenn) has received the Subway Athlete of the Month Award for the month of March in Women's Water Polo.
The award was announced at the monthly Bucknell Women's Sports Luncheon, held Monday, April 2. Sponsored by Lewisburg Subway, the luncheon recognizes one outstanding student-athlete from each Bucknell women's sport in season at that time. The other winners for the month of March, as selected by their respective coaches, were junior Melissa Montefusco for lacrosse, freshman Maria Garcia for outdoor track & field, sophomore Jill Wurzburg for tennis, senior Steph Morgan for softball and sophomore Lisa Baranik for crew.
Cull has posted some great numbers over her three-year stint, tallying 132 goals and 39 assist to earn her 171 points. She has continued her success through this season with 76 points from 55 goals and 21 assists. Cull currently leads the teams in both shots (139) and steals (80) and is a co-captain for the Orange and Blue. The Bison finished their season with a school record for wins, going 18-13 overall. Bucknell ended the year with a fifth place finish at the Southern Division Championship.
