Women's Water Polo Team Suffers Tough Loss to 14th-Ranked Michigan

GROVE CITY, Pa. - Playing its first game at the Southern Division Championships, the Bucknell women's water polo team drew Michigan, the 14th-ranked team in the country. The games are taking place at Grove City College on Friday and Saturday, April 6-7.
The Orange and Blue gave the Wolverines a challenge, but in the end it was Michigan prevailing, 11-6.
Senior Paige Cull (Bay City, Mich./John Glenn) had a solid overall game for BU, scoring four goals, handing out one assist and collecting three steals. Sophomore Katy Stahler (San Diego, Calif./Mt. Carmel) stepped it up on defense for Bucknell, joining Cull with a team-high three steals and registering four ejections drawn.
Bucknell falls to 15-13 overall and will face Grove City at 9:50 p.m.
