Women's Tennis Drops Patriot League Finale, 6-1

EASTON, Pa.-- The Bucknell women's tennis team wrapped up its regular season Patriot League schedule with a 6-1 loss at Lafayette on Tuesday, April 23, at Sullivan Courts. The Bison fall to 4-9 overall and 0-3 in the Patriot League. The Leopards improve to 13-4 on the year and 2-2 in league play.
Sophomore Laura Maisel (Princeton, N.J./Hun School) was Bucknell's lone winner on the day, picking up a 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 win over Shannon Rowe at the third singles flight.
Bucknell closes the season with two home matches against Millersville and Bloomsburg on Wednesday and Thursday, April 25 and 26, respectively.
