Bucknell Falls To Army In Men's Tennis

HAMILTON, N.Y. - The Bucknell men's tennis season has come to a close with a 4-0 loss to top-seeded Army in the second round of the Patriot League Championship Tournament on Saturday, April 21. The Bison, seeded fourth in the tournament, defeated number five Lehigh, 5-1, earlier to advance to the second round. The tournament is being held at Colgate on April 21-22.
The Black Knights won all three doubles matches to claim the doubles point, before going on to shutout the Bison with wins at the first three singles flights. The fourth and fifth singles bouts did not finish and the sixth did not play because the match had already been decided.
Bucknell finishes the season at 9-7 overall.
