Lewisburg, Pa. - The Bucknell men's lacrosse team broke the top-ten by receiving a ranking of nine in the STX/USILA Division I Men's Lacrosse Coaches Poll after receiving 110 points. The Herd moved into the nation's top-ten after falling short to the #1 team at the time, Maryland 8-4, and defeating #12 Hobart, 12-4, in a crucial conference contest.
Leading the Bison to the nation's top-ten was sophomore goalkeeper, Justin Sussman (Towson, Md./Friends School), who tallied 14 saves against Maryland and 26 stops in the Hobart victory. Sussman was named the Warrior/Inside Lacrosse Division I Co-Player of the Week for his outstanding play against Maryland and Hobart.
