Grapplers End Season at EIWA Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Bucknell wrestling team completed competition at the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Championship, held at the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4.
Three wrestlers placed for BU, each earning sixth place at their respective weight class.
Freshman Jeremy Weller (Philipsburg, Pa./Philipsburg-Osceola) made an impressive showing for himself at 133 pounds. The rookie went 2-3 on the weekend to earn himself sixth place.
Junior Ben Chunko (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley) finished out a stellar season with a sixth place finish at 174 pounds. Chunko posted a 2-3 mark with one major decision on his way to the finish. He ends the year at 24-9 overall.
Junior Brian Falciglia (New Fairfield, Conn./New Fairfield) was BU's other place winner. Falciglia earned sixth place at 197 pounds, going 3-3 on the weekend with one fall and one major decision. Falciglia reached the 20 win mark on the season with his final victory, ending the year at 20-17 overall.
