Bucknell Swimming & Diving Teams Receive Academic Al-American Honors From Collegiate Swim Coaches Association

LEWISBURG, PA - Bucknell University's men's and women's swimming & diving teams were recently honored with Academic All-American honors from the Collegiate Swim Coaches Association of America.
The Bison women, who posted a 6-3 dual meet mark and finished second at the 2001 Patriot League Championships, ranked tied for 26th among all Division I institutions with a team grade-point average of 3.20. Manhattan College topped the list of schools with a 3.52 GPA. Bucknell was the top school listed among Patriot League members.
The Bison men, who posted a 7-2 dual meet record and finished third at the 2001 Patriot League Championships, ranked 21st among all Division I institutions with a team grade-point average of 2.91. Brigham Young University topped the list of schools with a 3.35 GPA. The Bison were second to Army (11th) among all Patriot League schools.
