Bucknell Men's Lacrosse Makes Debut On Radio This Weekend, 3/17

Lewisburg, Pa. - The Bucknell men's lacrosse team will make its 2001 debut on the radio waves this weekend against Army on Saturday, March 17, at 1:30 p.m. The contest will be broadcast by the Bison Sports Network on WMLP radio, 1380 AM at 1:15 p.m. for the pre-game show. The game is also available via the Internet on the Bucknell Athletics website, www.BucknellBison.com.
Doug Birdsong, Bucknell's radio and TV coordinator, will team up with color commentator and Bucknell's Associate Athletic Director for Sports Management and Administration, Tim Pavlechko, to cover the Patriot League contest.
The men's lacrosse team is currently 3-1 on the season with victories against North Carolina, Holy Cross, and Stony Brook. The Orange and Blue's only setback of the season came at the hands of Pennsylvania. Catch the Bison Stickmen on the radio this Saturday with Doug and Tim at 1:15 p.m. for the Bison Build-up.
