Women's Tennis Team Starts Dual Meet Season With a Victory

St. Bonaventure, N.Y. - The Bucknell women's tennis team traveled to St. Bonaventure for its first dual meet of the season, defeating the Bonnies, 4-3, in college women's tennis action on Saturday, February 24.
In singles action, Bison freshman Samantha Berthod (White Plains, N.Y./Ursuline Academy), sophomore Laura Maisel (Princeton, N.J./Hun School) and senior Beth Wurzburg (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) were winners at the three, five and six slots, respectively. The BU doubles teams at the second and third flights were also winners on the day.
Bucknell is 1-0 and will face Cleveland State at St. Bonaventure later in the day.
