ABOUT THIS EVENING'S GAME: The Orange and Blue enter this evening's contest riding a four-game losing streak. The Bison carry a 3-4 overall record into Buffalo, and are 1-1 on the road this season.
Canisius comes into tonight's game with an even record of 4-4 after a 10-point victory at Loyola on Sunday (86-76). The Golden Griffins have only played at home twice, going 1-1.
THE SERIES: Bucknell and Canisius have met only three times in the history of the series with Bucknell holding a slim 2-1 advantage. The last time these two schools faced each other was during the 1995-96 season when the Bison set a school record for points in a game in a 115-92 victory in Lewisburg.
The Golden Griffins only win in the series came during the 1990-91 season when they handed Bucknell a 74-70 defeat in Davis Gymnasium.
SCOUTING CANISIUS: After opening the season with a win, Canisius suffered through its own four-game skid before winning the last four. The Golden Griffins season-opening victory came against future Bucknell opponent, Northeastern, 78-64 at Northeastern. Canisius is led in the scoring column by Shauna Geronzin with 19.5 points per game. Joining her in double-figures scoring is Jenel Stevens with 11.1 points per game. Geronzin also leads the squad with 8.4 rebounds per game.
