Bucknell Names Judson Aungst Assistant Swimming & Diving Coach

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Judson Aungst, a 2001 graduate of SUNY-Geneseo, has been named as an assistant swimming and diving coach at Bucknell University.
Aungst joins the Bison coaching staff after spending the past three summers working at the Hickory Hill Swim and Tennis Club in Orchard Park, N.Y. As an assistant manager at the club, the East Aurora, N.Y. native managed a membership organization of 250 families. He also served as the head coach of the Hickory Hill Swim Team.
Also a certified swim instructor, Aungst has instructed master and children's swim clinics over the past three years for Total Immersion. In addition, he filled the position of assistant head coach at the Orchard Park High School Swim Clinic from 1999-2001.
At Bucknell, Aungst will work closely with the Bison sprint group, while assisting with recruiting responsibilities.
"We're real excited to have Jud on our staff," said Bucknell head swimming and diving coach Jerry Foley. "He brings a great technical background of the sport, and will provide helpful feedback to our athletes."
Aungst was a member of Geneseo's varsity swim team from 1997-98. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in organizational and interpersonal communication with a minor in business studies.
