Bison Men's Basketball Falls To Rider, 75-62

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP) - Mario Porter scored 27 points and Jerry Johnson added 12 as Rider beat Bucknell 75-62 Tuesday night.
Bucknell grabbed an early 18-16 lead, but Rider (1-1) went on a 15-2 run late in the first half and never trailed again. Bucknell (0-3) cut the lead to 58-47 on a 3-pointer by Matt Quinn midway through the second half but that was as close as the Bison got.
Porter shot 11-for-16, including 2-for-3 from 3-point range. He also pulled down seven rebounds. Johnson hit 5-of-9 shots and Laurence Young had 11 points for the Broncs.
Boakai Lalugba had 20 points and seven rebounds and Quinn had 13 points, including three 3-pointers, for Bucknell.
