Women's Golf Takes Ninth at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Bucknell University women's golf team shot a 352 on the second day of the Princeton Invitational, and the Bison finished in ninth place out of 24 schools with a 693-stroke team score.
Senior Hilary Mainka was the top individual performer for Bucknell. After shooting an 82 over the first 18 holes yesterday, Mainka posted an 86 on day two. She finished with a two-day total of 168, and tied for 20th place out of 119 golfers. Also finishing among the top 25 was junior Molly Campbell, who finished 22nd overall with a 169-stroke score after shooting an 86 on day two.
Bucknell's next lowest finisher was junior Jess Hetrich, who shot an 86 for the second day in a row. Hetrich ended up in a tie for 29th place with a 172 score for 36 holes. Other Bison competing were freshmen Allison Kasic and Jaime Hays, who each shot a 94 on day two. Kasic placed in a tie for 72nd with a 184 two-day mark, and Hays tied for 80th at 186.
The Bison return to action on Oct. 12-13 when they participate in the Rutgers Invitational.
