One-hundred sixty-nine Bucknell Athletes Earn Dean's List Honors For 2000 Fall Semester

LEWISBURG, PA -- One-hundred sixty-nine Bucknell University student-athletes have earned Dean's List honors for the 2000 fall semester. Students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) for selection to the Dean's List.
Included among the student-athletes on the Dean's List this semester are 25 team captains and 18 student-athletes earning perfect 4.0 averages.
Captains named to the Dean's List include: Brooke Bader (volleyball), Ali Chandler (women's soccer), Alex Davydov (men's tennis), Jenna Demetriades (softball), Kristen Erb (women's soccer), Ashley Evans (women's lacrosse), Kari Evans (women's lacrosse), Ryan Fasnacht (wrestling), John Ferriter (men's swimming), Anna Hall (women's soccer), Hayes Hopple (men's tennis), Mark Juelis (men's lacrosse), Nate Kraft (men's cross country), Monique LeBlanc (women's basketball), Molly Lowe (women's swimming), Becki Marshall (women's cross country), Justin McCarty (men's water polo), Stephanie Morgan (softball), Brian Neuman (wrestling), Bridget O'Mara (women's golf), Gwen Packard (women's swimming), Annie Richards (women's lacrosse), Laura Ryan (women's track & field), Jeff Sharpe (men's swimming), Amanda Youmell (women's cross country).
In addition, 92 Bucknell fall sport student-athletes were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll last semester. To earn Honor Roll recognition, a student-athlete must earn a varsity letter and achieve a grade-point average of 3.2 or better during the semester of competition.
Bucknell (enrollment 3,650) competes in NCAA Division I (Division I-AA for football) as a member of the Patriot League.
