Bison Take Tough Loss On A Late Three-pointer

HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) - Tim Sullivan's 3-pointer with 15 seconds left lifted Colgate over Bucknell, 63-62, Wednesday night.
Sullivan finished with 24 points and nine rebounds for Colgate (9-9). Dave Hardy added eight points and three assists and Pat Campolieta tallied seven points and six rebounds for the Red Raiders.
Bucknell (10-9) was paced by Boakai Lalugba with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Bryan Bailey added 18 points, Brian Werner 13 and Dan Blankenship had 12.
The score was tied at 58-58 with 2:38 remaining before Blankenship put Bucknell ahead with a pair of free throws. Hardy knotted the score for the fifth time in the second half with a driving layup, 60-60, with 1:07 left.
Werner again give the Bison a two-point advantage with a layup with 36 seconds left before Sullivan scored the game-winner.
Bucknell had one final shot in an attempt to win the game, but the ball fell short and Sullivan grabbed the rebound with one second left.
