Bucknell Wrestling Team Back in Action at the Wilkes Open

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- The Bucknell wrestling team was back in action at the Wilkes Open after a 20-day layff from competition. The two-day tournament took place on Thursday and Friday, December 28-29 at Wilkes University.
At 125-pounds, sophomore Josh Perrin (Boswell, Pa./Somerset) evened his season record at 7-7 with a 4-2 record at the tournament.
At 133-pounds, freshman Jeremy Weller (Philipsburg, Pa./Philipsburg-Osceola) went 3-2 at the tournament to improve to 4-8 on the season.
At the 141-pound weight class, sophomore Brandn Green (Port Matilda, Pa./State College) posted a 3-2 mark with one fall, while junior Tommy Doerr (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield) went 2-2 with one major decision and one technical fall.
At 184-pounds, junior co-captain Brian Neuman (Eighty Four, Pa./Canon-McMillian) went 2-2 to even his season record at 8-8.
Junior Brian Falciglia (New Fairfield, Conn./New Fairfield) posted a 3-2 record with a win by fall and a technical fall to improve to 10-8 overall on the season at 197 pounds.
The Bison are in action again in a dual meet at East Stroudsburg on January 6.
