LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell (3-1) men's basketball team added another win to the victory column by defeating Drew (1-3), 82-62, in Davis Gymnasium. The Bison utilized solid defense and balanced offense in the contest, which included a double-double by sophomore Boakai Lalugba (East Orange, N.J./Bishop Francis Essex Catholic) with 19 points and a career-high 12 boards. Junior co-captain Bryan Bailey (Hempstead, N.Y./South Side) led all scorers with 24 points, while senior co-captain Jake Ramage (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) chipped in with 13 points.
The Bison went into halftime with a 15-point lead, 44-29, after solid shooting from the field (51.5%) and a key 13-point run gave them the lead for good in the contest. Drew was held to a 35.5% field goal percentage in the first stanza and was led by senior George Patsos with 15 points in the period. Patsos was also the leading scorer for the Rangers in the contest with 21 points.
