Senior Forward Named Patriot League Player of the Week for Sept. 18-25, 2000

LEWISBURG, Pa. ? Bucknell senior forward/midfielder
Geza Lendvai-Lintner (Madison, N.J./Madison) has been named
the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week for men's soccer
for the week of September 18-25.
Lendvai-Lintner recorded his second goal of the season, and fifth
of his career, in Bucknell's September 23 Patriot League matchup
versus Colgate. The Bison went on to defeat the Red Raiders,
3-0, with Lendvai-Lintner's goal proving to be the game-winner.
Both of his tallies on the season have been the deciding goal.
Against Mount St. Mary's on September 6, Lendvai-Lintner scored
the only goal of the game to give the Orange and Blue a 1-0 overtime
win.
In addition to his game-winner against Colgate, Lendvai-Lintner
also assisted on the third goal of the game to finish the contest
with three points. On the season, he has tallied two goals and
assisted on one to lead the team with five points.
Bucknell is 3-4-1 on the year and 2-0 in the Patriot League.
The Bison host Monmouth on Wednesday, September 27 for a 5:00
p.m. game.
