Two Men's Soccer Players Named To Smith Barney Classic All-Tournament Team

BURLINGTON, Vt. ? Bucknell senior captain midfielder
Bill Epley (Franklinville, N.J./Delsea Regional) and sophomore
forward Nick Taylor (Cleveland, Ohio/St. Ignatius) have
been named to the 2000 Smith Barney Soccer Classic All-Tournament
Team. The Bison participated in the tournament Saturday and Sunday,
September 9-10.
Epley is a key defender for the Bison, while Taylor scored Bucknell's
only goal of the weekend.
Taylor broke the Orange and Blue out of a scoring slump
with a goal late in the second half of Bucknell's game against
New Hampshire on Sunday, September 10. With just 11 minutes remaining
in the contest, Taylor cut the UNH lead to 2-1 with a score off
a scramble in front of the cage. It was Taylor's first goal of
the season, and only the second of his career.
The Bison are 1-4 and are in action next at St. Francis (PA) on
Wednesday, September 13, for a 4:00 p.m. game.
