Hannah Richard is set to begin her second season as an assistant coach at Bucknell. In her first season, she helped guide the Bison to a perfect 6-0 record in the conference and the program’s first ever outright Patriot League regular season title.
A former University of New Hampshire standout, Richard was a two-time Second Team All-America East selection. She played in more than 80 games in her four-year career with the nationally ranked Wildcats. She totaled 29 goals and five assists while garnering nearly 50 starting assignments. Richard netted one goal in a 3-0 New Hampshire victory over Bucknell in October 2013.
In addition to her high level of play, Richard has extensive camp coaching experience, having worked at a host of camps all over the northeast over the last six years. She has also served as a Futures Coach since January 2013, and began working with the Seacoast United Field Hockey Club in Hampton, New Hampshire, following the end of her own collegiate playing career.
A Hopkinton, New Hampshire native, Richard graduated from New Hampshire in 2014 with a degree in kinesiology: sports studies and a minor in business administration.
