2024-25 (Senior): Went 8-7 overall at 141 lbs…recorded five decisions, two pins and one major decision…went 4-1 at the ESU Open defeating Caedyn Ricciardi (SP Prep) by a 5-3 decision, Elijah Millsaps (LMU) by a fall, Jacob Torres (Lock Haven) by major decision and Gavin Denise (Centenary NJ) by fall.
2023-24 (Junior): Competed at three open tournaments at 133 and 141 pounds … posted a 2-6 record, registering bonus points in both wins … defeated Anthony Santagata (John Carroll) by an 8-0 major decision at the Clarion Open … defeated Matthew Ash (unattached) with a first period pin at the Edinboro Open.
2022-23 (Sophomore): Competed at three open tournaments, going 1-6 on the season … posted a 2-1 decision over mason Lynch of Kent State at the Clarion Open.
2021-22 (Freshman): Did not compete.
Before Bucknell: Lettered in wrestling, football and cross country at The Governor's Academy … in wrestling, posted a 153-28 career record and became program's first Prep Nationals All-American … won four league titles … was a two-time ISL and CAL champion … reached the Prep New England finals … twice served as team captain … helped football team earn a bowl game spot … also wrestled for Doughboy Wrestling Club, making the Disney Duals All-America Team and the 1000 Islands finals.
Personal: Trevor Joseph Nugent … born July 30, 2001 in Winchester, Massachusetts … son of Joseph and Kym Nugent … has four siblings: Marisol, Caridad, Colin and Daniella … father was a wrestler at Boston College … all four siblings also wrestle … major is chemical engineering.
