2024-25 (Junior): Went 2-2 overall at 157 lbs and 0-1 at 165 lbs, including a 1-1 dual record…recorded one win by tech fall over Keegan Knapp (Kent State)...registered one win by fall over Owen Finn (Cornell).
2023-24 (Sophomore): Represented Bucknell at the EIWA Championships at 157 pounds, going 0-2 … posted an 11-15 record for the season, competing at both 149 and 157 pounds … was 4-6 in duals, including a 2-6 mark in EIWA duals … registered three tech falls and one major decision … won back-to-back dual macjes over Drew Witham (LIU) and Aaron Turner (Morgan State) … defeated Richard Fedalen (Columbia) in sudden victory … suffered decisions to Jonathan Ley (Navy) and Andy Garr (Columbia) at the conference tournament.
2022-23 (Freshman): Went 5-10 wrestling almost exclusively at 157 pounds and one bout at 165 pounds … recorded one technical fall and one major decision … started nine duals, going 3-6 and 2-5 against EIWA opponents … won by a 17-1 technical fall in first collegiate bout over Slippery Rock’s Dylan Mullen at the Clarion Open … also won by a 10-1 major decision over Carion’s Trevor Elfvin at the Clarion Open … won in back-to-back duals against LIU and Rider.
Before Bucknell: Lettered four times in wrestling and once in football at Williamsport Area High School … in wrestling, went 139-31 and twice placed at the PIAA Class AAA state tournament … went sixth in 2021 and seventh in 2022 at 145 pounds … helped the Millionaires twice finish fourth as a team at the PIAA Class AAA state championships and win three district titles … made the Academic All-State Second Team … served as team captain … also wrestled for the Buffalo Valley Regional Training Center.
Personal: Riley Cole Bower … born April 7, 2004 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania … son of Matthew and Tegan Bower … has an older brother, Chase, and a twin brother, Braden … Braden is also a member of the Bucknell wrestling team's class of 2026 ... majoring in mechanical engineering.
