2024-25 (Junior): Went 4-4 overall at 285 lbs…went undefeated at the ESU Open to start the season defeating Layton Schmick (ESU) by major decision, Shane Whitney (Drexel) by a 7-1 decision, Ajay Hiller (Anibals Animals) by 7-3 decision and Alejandro Rivera (RPI) by pin.
2023-24 (Sophomore): Competed at the Edinboro Open and Mat-Town Open II, going 3-4 on the season at 285 pounds … posted a 5-2 decision over Sam Alsheimer (Morgan State) and a 5-0 decision over Billy Brosko (Drexel) … recipient of the team’s 11th-Man Award.
2022-23 (Freshman): Competed at five tournaments, wrestling at 184 and 197 pounds … went 3-10 on the season, posting one major decision … won by 11-3 major decision over Paul Warner of Navy at the Mat-Town Open … seven of 10 losses were by decision.
Before Bucknell: Lettered in wrestling at Crescent Valley High School … helped the Raiders win four-straight OSAA 5A state titles … was a two-time OSAA 5A state champion at 285 pounds … won the Reser's TOC heavyweight state title … also wrestled for Mat Sense Wrestling Club.
Personal: Riley Wade Godek … born May 18, 2004 in Abington, Pennsylvania … son of Brent and Priscilla Godek … has two sisters: Aurora and Scarlett .. father played football at Princeton University … mother played lacrosse at Kenyon College ... majoring in biology.
