In 2016: Team captain ... started the first 12 games at close defense before suffering a season-ending injury ... had played defensive midfield throughout his career, but filled in on close D in the fall due to some injuries and won a starting job there ... recorded 11 ground balls and five caused turnovers in the spring ... In 2015: Injured for part of the season, but played in eight games as a defensive midfielder ... logged three ground balls and a caused turnover ...had two GBs against Bryant ...
