2024-2025: As a junior, currently sits bow seat of the 3v.
2023-24: As a sophomore, he sustained an injury that kept him out for most of the racing season. He was two-seat of the 3rd varsity 8 at the MARC and three-seat of the varsity four at ACRAs, which made the D final.
2022-23: As a freshman, Travis was a walk-on for the BUMC. For ACRAs, he was in two-seat of the novice 4, making the petite final.
Personal: Travis was born December 26, 2003 and is from Hegins, PA. He is the son of Cathi and Tony Stanitis. During high school, Travis was an exceptional swimmer, competing at the district, state, and national levels from junior-high until his senior year. When starting college, Travis was conflicted whether to continue swimming or not. He knew he wanted to stay active and decided to try out for the team. Travis was also a beach lifeguard for four seasons, being named lifeguard of the year and competing at USLA nationals for three years in a row. He majors in biology, minors in biochemistry, and is involved with biological research.
