Ralph Turri ’76 was an outstanding two-sport athlete at Bucknell in the mid-1970s. He was a three-year starting linebacker on the football team and a two-year starting midfielder in lacrosse, and he served as team captain in both sports. Turri led the 1974 football team with 162 tackles and was named to the Associated Press All-Pennsylvania First Team that year. As a junior, Turri was named to the All-East Coast Conference lacrosse squad.

Including Turri’s dual-sport selection, the Bucknell Athletics Hall of Fame will now contain 87 members associated with the football program and 12 from the men’s lacrosse program.
