MEET COACH REDD
RECRUITING AREAS: Ohio, Kentucky, Washington
Ryan Redd was added to the Bucknell football staff as a defensive backs coach in November 2020. He switched to wide receivers coach ahead of the 2022 campaign, his second in Lewisburg.
Redd spent the 2019 campaign as a defensive assistant at Georgetown College. Before his stint with the Tigers, he was the defensive coordinator at North Mecklenburg High School from 2017 to 2018.
Redd broke into the collegiate coaching ranks as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Pittsburgh in 2016. There, he worked with the special teams and running backs. That season, the Panthers went 8-5, ultimately earning a spot in the Pinstripe Bowl against Northwestern University.
Redd served as a wide receivers and linebackers coach at Mooresville High School from 2011 to 2015. He graduated in 2006 from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in counseling and obtained his master's degree in clinical education and counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013.
