Her most recent stop was as the Offensive Line coach at Oberlin College. Cornwell has been an offensive line coach for the NFL International Player Pathway Program in 2023 and 2024 and produced one draft pick (Travis Clayton) and five undrafted players, all who are currently on NFL rosters.
Prior to her hire at Oberlin, Cornwell was a student assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin - Madison where she helped on Offense, Defense, and Special Teams while assisting in recruiting over her four season span with the program. She had a total of six players drafted and another six sign free agent contracts, all but one are still playing in the NFL.
Cornwell was a two-time participant in the NFL Women’s Forum in 2022 and 2023 and was selected for Bill Walsh Fellowships with the Tennessee Titans (2022), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2023), and Washington Commanders (2024)
Cornwell was 1 of 25 NCAA football coaches selected for the 2024 NFL/NCAA Coaching Academy. She was also 1 of 25 football coaches selected for the 2024 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Coaching Academy. Cornwell was selected to present at the 2024 AFCA convention on Offensive Line pass protection techniques in 2024 and presented at the NCMFC in 2025 on Run Game Philosophy.
Cornwell was a participant in flag and tackle football growing up and began coaching in high school in the Reedsburg Area, working with Specialists and Wide Receivers.
Cornwell graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies with a focus on Global Security. She also obtained a certificate in Environmental Studies.
