Update from Head Rowing Coach Steve Kish -- October 2023

Greetings from Lewisburg,

Our 40th Anniversary Celebration this past weekend was incredible! Over 60 alumni returned to campus, highlighted by the return of 10 women from the program's earliest years. The group of attendees is included below.

Following the team's Saturday morning practice on the river, our current rowers and coxswains participated in a networking event with our returning women's and men's alumni at the boathouse. Then, supported by perfect weather, over six eights of women took to the oars and once again experienced the joyous challenge of rowing as one on our beautiful Susquehanna River. Later that evening, the entire group of men's and women's alumni attended "State of the Union" presentations about their respective programs, followed by a happy hour, banquets with guest speakers, and, most importantly, the sharing of fond memories.

I will personally remember this celebration as the most inspirational to date, and I hope we will all be looking forward to our next opportunity to celebrate together. Enjoy some of the sights and sounds from the weekend in this video and photo gallery:
