Lori Houck Steigerwald ’00 was a four-time All-Patriot League guard and one of the all-time leading scorers for the Bison women’s basketball team. She graduated with 1,447 career points, a total that ranked second in program history at the time of her graduation and now ranks fifth. She also ranked second at the time and fifth currently in assists with 336. Houck was captain of the team as a senior in 1999-2000, when the Bison advanced to the Patriot League Championship game. That year she also earned the Patriot League Women’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete Award and then the overall Patriot League Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year at the conclusion of the school year.
