"I was very pleased with how both genders competed today," said head coach Kevin Donner. "They won decisive wins over a very good program. We had a long layoff and reloaded with our training the past three weeks and our early season marks in all event areas are as good as ever. I believe we are set up nicely for a very successful outdoor season. We have a strong schedule over the next four weeks in which we should see our marks improve quite a bit."
Two Bison throwers notched victories and moved into Bucknell's top ten lists. Freshman Owen Allen won the hammer throw with a toss of 56.18m (184-4). The distance arrived during his fourth throw. The mark moved the rookie into ninth place at Bucknell.Â
Keenan LaMontagne achieved victory in the discus throw, flinging the instrument 52.07m (170-10). The mark came during his second chance and sits third all-time at Bucknell.
