ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Bucknell women's tennis fell to Navy 7-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Bison dropped to 7-9 overall and 0-3 in the Patriot League with the road loss.

Abby Platt and Riley Jennings earned the lone match win for Bucknell as they defeated Anna Jordaan and Peyton Philemon at the No. 1 doubles spot 6-2.

The Midshipmen secured the doubles point as they took the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches. Navy then continued its dominance going 6-0 in singles play. The No.1 singles match between Emma Gu and Abby Platt was a tight battle as the Midshipmen took set one in extra points 7-5 and the Bison took set two 6-3 to force it to a set three where Gu eventually took the win.

Bucknell women's tennis will stay on the road for its next conference road match as it will face Lehigh on Saturday, March 28 at 11 a.m.
