LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men's and women's soccer teams both secured key Patriot League wins over the weekend, and three Bison booters received honors on Monday. On the women's side, Gaby Parker was named Patriot League Forward of the Week, and Sarah McFarland earned her third Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week citation. Meanwhile, Drew Roskos scored not one but two game-winning goals for the men's squad last week, and he also earned Patriot League Forward of the Week honors.
In addition, Parker and Roskos were both named Bison of the Week after combining for four goals.
Parker had been searching for her 2026 breakout performance, and she found it in Boston on Saturday, scoring both goals in Bucknell's 2-1 win over Boston University. She opened the scoring in the ninth minute, and then after the Terriers tied it on a penalty kick late in the first half, Parker bagged the game-winner in the 61st minute.
The sophomore from Howell, N.J., now has three goals and three assists on the season, and she ranks second on the team with nine points.
McFarland turned in her typical strong performance in goal, making six saves against the Terriers while handling numerous other services into the box. The freshman from Middletown, Del., also made her first career goal contribution with an assist on Parker's first-half goal. McFarland sent a booming punt well into the attacking half, where Presley Sutter headed it forward to Parker for the goal.
Roskos is also regaining his goal-scoring form after missing the first part of the men's season with an injury. He scored both of his goals on headers last week as the Bison earned 1-0 wins over Mount St. Mary's and Holy Cross at Emmitt Field.
Roskos headed home a Jack Lucas service in the 21st minute in Tuesday's non-league win over the Mountaineers, and on a very similar sequence he nodded in a David Krumov cross in the 64th minute against the Crusaders.
Both Bison soccer teams are in the thick of the postseason race through five rounds of Patriot League play. The men are 2-2-1 in the conference and tied for fourth with American with seven points. The women remained unbeaten at 3-0-2 and are in second place with 11 points, two behind Army (4-0-1).
Next up for the women is a road test against third-place Navy (3-1-1) on Friday night, while the men host second-place Lehigh (4-0-1) on Saturday at 7 p.m.

McFarland has backstopped an outstanding defensive run for the Bison. The team has allowed only two goals over its last six games, both coming on penalty kicks. Here's a look at Gaby Parker's first-half goal.
