
Wrestling Announces 2025-26 Schedule

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell Wrestling, as befitting its national prominence, scheduled an ambitious and deep slate for the 2025-26 season. Multiple home duals versus recognizable programs and national powerhouses in Cornell and Oklahoma punctuated the itinerary.
"We are super excited to compete against some of the most elite programs in the country," said Bucknell head coach Dan Wirnsberger. "This is a fantastic opportunity to see where we measure up as individuals and as a team. There is no doubt that our schedule will have us best prepared for March!"
The season begins on Nov. 2 at the annual Navy Classic, where the Bison have traditionally provided a good showing against a vast reservoir of tenacious opponents. Bucknell remains on the road for a Nov. 7 bout at Virginia Tech.
The Orange & Blue commence the home schedule with a headliner dual versus Oklahoma on Nov. 15.
Bucknell then return home-and-home duals at Wisconsin (Nov. 25) and Pitt (Dec. 7).
The Bison host the Bucknell Quad on Dec. 21, where the Orange & Blue will wrestle EIWA foes Hofstra and Morgan State with Virginia adding extra holiday spirit to the proceedings. The Quad will take place in Sojka Pavilion.Â
Bucknell will spend the Christmas break at the prestigious Midlands on Dec. 29-30.
EIWA play resumes on Jan. 4 at LIU. Bucknell harpooned the Sharks 37-5Â last year in Sojka.
National behemoth Cornell rolls into Lewisburg on Jan. 10.
The Davidson Duals will be held on Jan. 17, and the Bison will wrestle Davidson, Presbyterian, and North Dakota State. Â
Bucknell travels to Army for an EIWA showdown on Jan. 23. The Bison upset the No. 21 Black Knights 21-13 last season for its first ranked win in over a decade.
Lock Haven drives down Interstate 80 on Jan. 29 to duel the Bison.
Feb. 6-7 will be an EIWA weekend as Bucknell hits the road to avenge losses to Navy and Drexel.
A second straight all-EIWA weekend follows on Feb. 14-15. No love will be in the air when Bucknell heads to Bethlehem to wrestle Lehigh on Valentine's Day. American enters Lewisburg for the Bison's Senior Day.
The regular season concludes on Feb. 22 with matches versus Bloomsburg and Columbia.
The 2026 EIWA Championships will be held on March 6-7 in Washington, D.C.
Cleveland hosts the 2026 NCAA National Championships on March 19-21.
