Bucknell at a Glance

The Bison women's tennis squad is heading into the Patriot League Championships with a 10-10 overall record and a 3-4 conference record,
The Bison are entering the tournament off of a 6-1 conference victory over Lafayette on the road.
Whitney King leads the Bison with 16 wins in singles matches. W. King and Abby Platt lead the team in doubles with 18 wins this season.
Whitney King continues to climb Bucknell's career wins charts. She now ranks 9th in career singles wins with 62, fourth in doubles wins with 79, and seventh in combined wins with 141.

Bucknell vs. Lehigh (PL Quarterfinal Opponent)

Lehigh is entering the Patriot League Championships 11-7 overall and 4-3 in the conference. The Mountain Hawks are coming off of a two-game winning streak where they blanked Holy Cross 7-0 and Lafayette 5-0.
The last time these two teams played at the beginning of April was on Bucknell's Senior Day. The Bison defeated Lehigh 5-2.
The Bison swept the Mountain Hawks in doubles, winning each of the three matches 6-3. Bucknell then moved on to singles play where they took the matches on Courts 1,2,4 and 6 thanks to Whitney King, Abby Platt, Tori Allen and Riley Jennings. Anna Lajos dropped her match on Court 3 in three hard fought sets and Jaycie Mair dropped her match on Court 5.
Since 2004, the Bison are 8-20 overall against Lehigh.

Bucknell at the Patriot League Championships

Bucknell has won two Patriot League Championships since the tournament began. They notched wins in 1992 and 1994.
The last time the Bison reached the championship game of the Patriot League tournament was in the 2009/10 season where they ultimately fell to Army.
Last season, Bucknell made it to the quarterfinal round before falling to Navy to come just shy of the semi's.
Since 2000, Bucknell has reached the semifinal round 13 times and has seen the finals six of those times.
