About the Bison

Bucknell makes the short trip to State College this weekend for Penn State's 48th Annual Rutherford Intercollegiate.
Jack Hartman, Michael Rudnick, Patrick Pritsios, James Robbins, and James Key are in the Bison lineup at Penn State, with Key the first one out on Saturday at 7:57 a.m. Hayden Quinn will also be in action as an individual. Bucknell will play with Binghamton and St. Bonaventure on day one.
The Bison are coming off a 10th-place finish at Maryland's Testudo Cup last weekend. They posted team scores of 299-287-307.
Freshman Jack Hartman was brilliant through 43 holes. He was 6-under through two rounds after a 69-69 start, then birdied five of his first seven holes on Sunday to take a three-shot lead at 11-under. Hartman had a tough finish and ended with a 76, but he still finished T-5th for the tournament.
Hartman has four under-par rounds this spring and leads the team with a 73.5 scoring average. Rudnick is next at 75.6, followed by Pritsios (76.5), Key (77.5), and Robbins (77.5).
Bucknell's last appearance at the Rutherford Intercollegiate came during the 2020-21 season. The Bison shot 302-301-296 and finished 12th.
