Connor Davis Named Bison of Week after Equaling Career Goal-Scoring Record

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell senior Connor Davis has been selected as the Bison of the Week after matching the men's lacrosse team's all-time goal-scoring record in Saturday's 11-10 win over Lehigh.
Davis notched his 138th career goal, tying Hall-of-Famer Justin Zackey's school record that has stood since 1994. It was not only a milestone goal, but it was a big one in the game as well. Davis' tally off a feed from Will Hopkins at the 11:48 mark of the third quarter snapped a 6-6 tie, and Bucknell led the rest of the way.
Davis now has 30 goals on the season, and his average of 3.75 goals per game ranks second among all Division I players.
The Bison have won two straight one-goal thrillers against Colgate and Lehigh to level their overall record at 4-4 and their Patriot League record at 2-2. Bucknell is tied for fifth place in the Patriot League standings alongside Lafayette, and those two teams will meet on Friday night in Easton.
