• Philadelphia is the scene of the 2025 NCAA Championships. The tournament began back in 1928. Penn State has claimed the national title for the past three years.
• The NCAA Wrestling Championships pit 33 wrestlers in 10 weight classes each against each other in a battle for a national championship title. The tournament adopts a double-elimination format, with the Top 8 wrestlers in each class winning All-American honors. The tournament consists of five rounds (save for consolation, or wrestle-back rounds), with each match being seven minutes long. Each program present at the tournament will also be awarded points for each individual wrestler's wins in order to decide the team champion.
• 66 total teams are competing at this year's national championships. The Bison are projected to finish 39th.Â
• 330 wrestlers are ready to wrestle in Philadelphia.Â
