Leclercq Lands All-ECAC First Team for the Second Straight Year

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Kira Leclercq added another award to her already impressive 2025 haul by repeating as All-ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) First Team, as announced Friday by the organization. Leclercq was the only Patriot League player to be named to the First Team.Â
The senior defender enjoyed a banner 2025 campaign, scoring 13 goals, recording six defensive saves, and tallying 32 points. All three marks ranked second in the conference. Her six defensive saves slot fifth and her 32 points are seventh in Bucknell's single-season history.Â
Career-wise, Leclercq inscribed her name in the Bucknell record book, finishing with 27 defensive saves (second), 73 points (seventh), 27 goals (ninth), 19 assists (tenth).Â
This season, the Berlin, Germany native has won Preseason Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, repeated as Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year, duplicated NFHCA First Team All-Region, landed on the NFHCA Division I Senior Team, repeated as Academic All-Patriot League, and earned five Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week awards.Â
Bucknell finished 10-7 and recorded double-digit wins for the first time since 2018.Â
