Women's Track & Field Underway at Two Meets

LEWISBURG & UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- The Bucknell women's track & field program split its squad between the Bison Open & Multi and Penn State National Open and achieved several notable results for the Orange & Blue's top ten lists.Â

Alexandra Lea achieved a personal record in the 200-meter run. Her time of 25.33 also slots eighth in Bucknell history.Â
The distance medley relay team of Kerry O'Day (1200), Lea (400), Katie Moncavage (800), and Shaelan McNally (1600) won the event working together to a time of 11:58.25. The time ranks 25th fastest in Division I for the current season.Â
Prizila Negrete finished second in the shot put. Her 41-1 throw was a season best.Â
Karly Renn notched fourth place in the pole vault. Her clearance of 11-8 was a season best.Â

While Madison Fowler's 13th place finish (56-4) in the weight throw was higher than Christine Ajao's 15th placement of 55-11.75, Ajao's mark held more Bucknell significance improving upon her sixth place rank in Bison history.Â
