Ryckman, Stefanovic Named Honorable Mention All-Americans

LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison men's water polo team capped its 2024 season with a fifth-place finish in the MAWPC Tournament and placed two players Matt Ryckman and Aleksa Stefanovic on the ACWPCÂ (Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches)Â Â All-American Honorable Mention list.Â

Ryckman, a senior center, finished fifth on the team with 32 goals and played a large role defensively with 23 steals - a mark that ranked second on the Bison. Both numbers were significant increases from his 2023 performance of 13 goals and nine steals.Â
Stefanovic, a junior attacker, led the squad with 84 goals and finished third with 21 steals. The Serbian led the team in goals for the second straight year after scoring 60 goals in 2023. He tallied eight goals in Bucknell's win over Mount St. Mary's to earn fifth place in the 2024 MAWPC Tournament.Â
The Bison men will return to the pool in Fall 2025. Â
