Connor Davis Earns Spot on Men's Lacrosse All-Patriot League Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell men's lacrosse junior Connor Davis was recognized on the 2024 All-Patriot League Second Team when the league office announced its postseason awards on Monday. It's the second postseason honor of Davis' career, as he earned PL Rookie of the Year honors in 2022.
Davis finished the regular season tied for second in the Patriot League with 38 goals, which also places him in a tie for ninth in the Bucknell record book for single-season scoring. Starting all 14 of the team's contests, Davis scored in all but two games and registered seven hat tricks. The Bethesda, Md. native topped out at a career-high seven goals with one assist in the team's win over Lafayette in March, and he tallied five goals on two other occasions.
Davis ended the season with 42 points overall with the addition of his four assists, and he also posted 26 grounds balls and four caused turnovers.
Davis climbed onto Bucknell's all-time top-10 career goals list this season, sitting fifth in program history with 108. He is three goals shy of Chris Cara '05 (4th, 111) and 30 shy of the program's all-time leader Justin Zackey '94. Davis' named already appeared in several spots in Bucknell's record book. His 45 goals in 2022 are tied for second for a single season, and he tied the program's single-game goals by a freshman record three times during his Rookie of the Year campaign. Davis' six Rookie of the Week awards that year were a league record. Davis added 25 more goals to his career total as a sophomore in 2023 despite missing time with injury and appearing in just 10 of the team's 13 games.
Bucknell's 2024 season came to an end on Friday with a 4-10 record. Davis totaled 17 goals in the Bison's four victories.
