Bucknell Women at a Glance
• Bucknell heads back to Annapolis, Md. to compete at the ECAC Championships this weekend. The Bison finished in second place behind only Navy at last year's ECAC meet.
• The Bison women took fourth place at the 2024 Patriot League Championships last weekend, which were also hosted by the Mids at Lejeune Hall. Bucknell claimed three medals, including a silver medal by Claire Kehley in the 1650 freestyle. In all, the women made 13 new entries in the Bucknell record book and broke school records in the 200 freestyle relay and the 100 breaststroke.
• The 2024 All-Patriot League Teams were announced on Wednesday, and three members of the Bucknell women's swim & dive team were honored. Esme Hunter made her third consecutive All-Patriot League Second Team, and she was joined by first-time honorees Virginia Hastings and Kehley. Hunter led all Bison with 63 points scored at the championship meet.
• Bucknell wrapped up the 2024 regular season with a 5-4 (4-4 PL) record and concluded its dual schedule with a 162-138 victory over Lehigh on Jan. 27. Two Bison earned Patriot League weekly awards during the campaign. Hastings was named PL Female Swimmer of the Week on Feb. 6, and Meghan Catherwood was named PL Female Diver of the Week on Oct. 24.
• Seniors Hunter, Kayla Lichtner and Grace Kujawski are serving as team captains this season.
• Bucknell welcomed nine newcomers to the roster this season.

Bucknell's Women at the 2023 ECAC Championships
• Bucknell scored 503 points at last year's ECAC Championships and finished behind the first-place Mids (546). The women were in first place through the second day of the event.
• The Bison won three events: Reggie Frias took first in the 3-meter dive (272.00), Meghan Catherwood won the 1-meter dive (269.05), and Sabrina Vumbacco, Emma Feld, Stephanie Walsh and Rylie Giles won the 800 freestyle relay (7:27.89).

Chris Kopac, Andy Dorsel, John Gehrig and Chris Fabian were each recognized for a third consecutive year, and Kopac received his second First Team All-League nod after leading the Bison and finishing 14th overall with 76 points scored at the championship meet.
• Bucknell posted a 6-3 (5-3 PL) record in 2023-24 and put an exclamation point on its dual schedule with a 239-57 victory over Lehigh on Jan. 27. Bucknell is 19-8 (16-7) since the start of the 2021-22 campaign, marking the team's best three-year stretch since 2012-2015.
• Three Bison, Jack Krug, Jackson Vinarub and John Gehrig, earned Patriot League Weekly awards this season. Krug was named PL Diver of the Week on Dec. 6, Vinarub was named PL Diver of the Week on Oct. 17, and Gehrig was named PL Swimmer of the Week on Oct. 17.
• Seniors Gehrig, Fabian and Noah Basista are serving as team captains this season.
• Bucknell welcomed seven newcomers to the roster this season.

Bucknell's Men at the 2023 ECAC Championships
• Bucknell's men's team finished in second place with 416 points at last year's ECAC meet. The Bison finished second only to Navy (814.5). They sat in eighth place after the first day, climbed to third on day two and settled at second on day three.
• Chris Fabian was crowned the 100 backstroke champion at last year's ECAC meet, winning the event with a 48.75.
