Wrestling Holds Blue & Orange Intrasquad

LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell wrestling program held its annual Blue & Orange intrasquad scrimmage Saturday afternoon in Davis Gym. The Blue team won a decisive 26-13 victory by winning six bouts.Â
The Blue team had several notable results. Kurt Phipps continued his hot streak by winning 6-1 over his opponent. Kade Davidheiser posted a 20-4 technical fall victory over Grayson McLellan. Noah Mulvaney posted a 17-2 technical fall win over Creed Thomas.
The Orange squad had several highlights. Dylan Chappell grabbed a 11-1 major decision over Ethan Lebin. Cade Wirnsberger supplied a 4-1 decision over Riley Bower.
The Bison officially open their 2024-25 campaign on Sunday, Nov. 3 with a doubleheader against Kent State and Maryland. Bucknell hosts its home opener in Davis Gym on Saturday, Dec. 7 against Big Ten powerhouse Wisconsin.
