Results
George Mason won the meet with 61 points. Harvard finished second with 73. Bucknell slotted third at 117. Colgate finished fourth with 136 points. St. Joseph's rounded out the top five with 141 points.
Donner's Debriefing
"We have improved a little bit every single meet after a slow start to the season and I believe we have some more room for improvement for the championship meets. We have closed the gap between our fourth and fifth men and we can close it even more over the next 2-4 weeks. Great to have Henry Didden back. Harry Marson is developing nice consistency now."
Marson, a senior, matched his career-best finish by placing fifth. The veteran runner raced for a time of 24:41.6. He has been enjoying a solid senior campaign and the IC4A Championships have added to his resume.
Freshman Ethan Pratt-Perez has been a bright spot for the team and his 14th-place finish provides more hints towards a future as Bucknell's headline runner. His time of 24:55.8 came with a movement of 13 spots in the second half of the race speaking well of the rookie's endurance.
Senior Grayson Crockett notched another good performance finishing 20th at 25:00.4. His experience showed up by moving six spots to clinch the top 20 slot.
Fellow senior Ben Santos grabbed 30th racing 25:13.2. He was slightly overtaken down the stretch dropping two spots but maintained his top 30 standing.
Junior Henry Didden finished in the top 50 by placing 48th. His time of 25:33.3 came via a movement of seven spots.
Bucknell displayed excellent depth by putting 12 runners in the top 100.
The Bison will recharge in preparation for the Patriot League Championships on Nov. 2. The league title competition will be held at Lafayette. Bucknell previously competed there as part of the Lafayette Preview.
