Inaugural Big Al Yearick Golf Outing Slated for Sept. 29

LEWISBURG, Pa. --Â Bucknell alumni, parents, and friends of Bison Basketball are invited to attend the "Big Al" Yearick Memorial Tip-Off Classic for a day of great golf, a chance to meet Bison head coach John Griffin III and his staff, the opportunity to reunite with friends and teammates, and to support the Bucknell Basketball program.
For the first time, the annual golf outing is named in honor of Allen H. "Big Al" Yearick. A native of Williamsport and a member of one of the original Little League teams, Big Al was a huge part of the Bison men's basketball program for 25 years. He served as team manager, mentor, friend, and postgame rapper until his passing in 2020 at the age of 91.

Following the tournament, join former teammates and coach Griffin in the Terrace Room on Bucknell's campus to hear about the Bison's preparations for the 2023-24 season.
