32 Bucknell Rowers Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell rowing team placed 32 student-athletes on the 2023 Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll on Tuesday. The 32 honorees were third-most among all Patriot League rowing institutions, and it was part of another strong academic semester that saw the Bison combined for a stellar team-wide 3.46 grade-point average.Â
Also honored for their scholar-athlete work earlier this spring were Caroline Brandt, Juliette Gaggini, and Dehlia Rotchford, who were all named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team. Brandt and Gaggini were also part of the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. All three earned perfect 4.00 GPAs this spring, as did Haley Beardsley, Mae Genovese, Millie Malloy, Abbey Nay, and Chloe Segal.Â
Bucknell led all Patriot League institutions with 517 student-athletes on the 2022-23 Honor Roll, including 341 on the just-released winter/spring Honor Roll. Lehigh had the next-highest 2022-23 total with 398. Patriot League student-athletes are selected to the academic honor roll for achieving a 3.2 GPA or better during the semester in which their League champion is crowned. More than 3,500 student-athletes were honored this past academic year.
